Texas rockers Electric Touch will perform at this year’s Free Press Summer Fest, which runs this weekend (June 2-3, 2012) in Eleanor Tinsley Park in Houston. The band released its latest album, Never Look Back, in March. If you’ve been to a major festival in the past few years, it’s likely you’ve seen the band before, as they play a lot of them.
Here’s a review from the Austin American Statesman:
“I Can’t Wait” pulses with synth strings and whoa-ohs, while “Alone,” with its slow, bluesy piano and sweeping guitar, is tailor-made for hoisted lighters in a stadium. “All The Love” aims similarly high — maybe less Aerosmith and more U2 — with punchy guitars working atop a speedy dance-rock beat. It doesn’t lose steam, it’s cohesive, it’s ready for more fields full of people.
Here’s a video of “Don’t Stop”:
Electric Touch plays at Summer Fest on Sunday, 6.3.12, at 7:30pm on Stage 5.
