Final show at Walter’s (on Washington) tonight

Tonight, come celebrate gentrification as Walter’s hosts its last show at the Washington location. The show features Dannzig (a local tribute band that plays Danzig, Misfits, and Samhain covers), Grandfather Child, Young Mammals (playing as Pavement), and more.
The fun starts at 7pm. $8 cover or $5 with Halloween costume.

A pretty cool deal here: singer-songwriter Terra Naomi is coming to Houston tomorrow night (Thursday, 10.22.09) on a fan-sponsored tour she put together on YouTube. After posting a “Tour Support Fund Drive” video on YouTube, she raised $5K in two week for the tour.
