Robert Ellis plays his album release show this Friday (5.15.09) at Mango’s.

Buxton and Listenlisten are also on the bill.

    Robert Ellis is incredible. I hope a lot of people go to this show. I’ve been exhausted from work lately and haven’t been out much, but if I do go out Friday, that’s a good one to go to.

    Has the PA at Mango’s improved? I was there for the fall 08 Westheimer Fest and it was hard to hear vocals. But I guess these bands are on the quieter side. Oh well, the PAs in Houston are lacking in general.

    sound has significantly improved. dunnock (who used to run sound at the mink) is doing a great job. we were worried at first beore playing there, but were pleasantly surprised at how well it sounded.
