Musicians and other interested parties should make plans to attend Bandcamp, which is October 19th at the Caroline Collective. Co-founder and KTRU DJ Matthew Wettergreen and his Revelry Report show co-hosts Philip Beck and Ian Wells have planned this event in an effort to stimulate discussions about the state of the Houston music scene and gives some firm how-tos for Houston bands looking to step up their game.

Speakers include local producer Dan Workman and Jason Saldanha, producer for the NPR’s Sound Opinions.
