This Saturday night at 9 p.m., local funk/jazz combo (and Houston Press Music Awards winners) Drop Trio celebrate the release of their latest CD, Cezanne. The live CD was recorded earlier this year at Cezanne in Houston (4100 Montrose, upstairs).

The band will also play a free in-store gig on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Cactus Music & Video (2930 South Shepherd). Refreshments will be provided by St. Arnold’s (two each, while it lasts). Copies of Cezanne will be available for sale at both shows.
