Groundhall (the music venue formerly known as Engine Room) and Echo (the venue formerly known as Jet Lounge) host the inaugural Spring Forward Music Fest. More than 30 bands are on the bill for the show, which kicks off at 2pm on Saturday, 3.12.11, just in time to prep for SXSW. What Made Milwaukee Famous, Tacks, The Boy Disaster, Ume, Bright Light Social Hour, Electric Touch, Yokomono, The Gold Sounds, Alkari, Ozeal, and Tax The Wolf are among those slated to perform.

The cost is a very reasonable $10 in advance, and $15 at the door. Go to the event’s Facebook page and confirm your attendance. Full schedule and links to discount tickets are on the page as well.
