The Black Math Experiment needs a bassist. It could be you.

From the band:

The good news is that opening for The Misfits was everything we thought it would be. Fitzgerald’s was completely packed with the kind of crazy, out-of-control rock fans that a band dreams of. Thanks so much to Jerry, Dez, and ROBO for letting us share the stage with them, and thanks as well to Sara, Frances, Amir, and the entire Fitzgerald’s staff for letting us live the dream.

The bad news is, November 20 marks the last performance of Captain Mongo Nelson with us. He and his wife will be moving to Minneapolis by the end of the year to be closer to their families. The Captain was Bill Curtner’s first recruit into the band, and has been a solid and valued member through all its incarnations. His punk/metal background has brought a throbbing rhythm to all of our music, and will be sorely missed. We wish him the best of luck, and are so glad we could send him off at a show involving one of his favorite bands.

The Black Math Experiment is accepting applications for a new full-time bass player. Auditions are this Sunday, 12.9.07. Email Bill to sign up.
