Local rock staple KLOL “Rock 101” was taken off the air and replaced with some sort of Latino hip-hop format. The switch has outraged 101’s loyal fanbase. While I am not a fan of much of the music 101 played (Creed, Incubus, etc.), the station has supported Texas music and local bands throughout its tenure in the Houston radio market.

Fans have created a website to protest the format change. There is a message board, a petition, contact information for the station and Clear Channel. Visit www.rock101.info for more information.
