Tonight, local singer/songwriter Arthur Yoria will perform at Onion Creek Cafe (3106 White Oak Dr., 713-880-0706) in the Heights, right down the street from Fitzgerald?s. Yoria will do a solo acoustic set at 9:30pm and will be followed by Tody Castillo.

Yoria’s song, “I?ll Be Here Awake,” was used on an episode of MTV?s Camp Jim and “Here To Say” is going to be featured in the independent film, Gleam of Dawn (scheduled for release in early 2004) during the last scene and going into the credits. It looks like an interesting flick and I?m sure that you?ll recognize some of the actors. Check here for more info.
