Envy magazine’s music issue out now

March 10th, 2008 · 7 Comments

Even if you’re not a regular reader, I suggest picking up a copy of the March issue of Envy. The magazine is free in spots around town or you may also find it at Borders and Barnes & Noble. This month is the magazine’s third annual music issue and is packed with SXSW previews and CD reviews.

Look for the magazine with Amy Winehouse on the cover. No, the other one…

Please let me know what you think.

Holy crap, man. Picked it up yesterday and was totally bowled over (and I’m not just saying that ’cause I’m in it ;^>). Awesome job, David — the SXSW preview, in particular, was insanely exhaustive…

I concur with the two of you: for once, this was an issue I am happy to have been part of & that I can readily share with my friends (you know, the people in my life who aren’t 24-7 Party People, aka 99% of the people I know).

This may be a dangerous suggestion to make, David, but if the Music Issue does really well…full-time mag? I mean, it’s not like there aren’t enough puff-y fashion/glamor mags in this town anyway, so y’know. Dude, you could stage a coup…
