Houston’s Second Lovers perform at this year’s Free Press Summer Festival, which is next weekend (June 6-7, 2015) in Houston’s Eleanor Tinsley Park. The band–vocalist/guitarist Nicolas Morales, vocalist Chelsea Renee, bassist Sean Spiller, drummer Josh Hammond, multi-instrumentalist John Maxwell, and guitarist Thomas Truver–has been around the local music scene since 2010. The group’s blend of folksy, rock-influenced Americana brings to mind summery, 70s-era Laurel Canyon rock.

Second Lovers plays at FPSF on Saturday, 6.6.15, at 12pm on the Neptune Stage. Be sure to come out early to catch the group’s set.
