I just came across some new tour dates for The Postal Service, whose electro-pop debut Give Up was released 10 years ago, and it looks like the time is right for the band to perform at 2013’s Free Press Summer Fest. A date has been announced in Grand Prairie (Dallas area) for June 3rd, which leaves a prime spot for a Free Press Summer Fest set. Keep those fingers crossed.
Free Press Summer Fest 2013 runs June 1-2, in Houston’s Eleanor Tinsley Park. Passes are available at www.fpsf.com.
Give Up is currently available for $2.99 at Amazon.com. The Give Up (Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition) will be released on April 9th on Sub Pop. The band’s new single, “A Tattered Line of String”, is available as well. More information on the band’s website.
