New-ish indie folksters The Rebecca West plays a free show at Cactus Music tomorrow (Saturday, 10.20.12) at 1pm. For those who haven’t heard of the band before, it is made up of local musicians (and husband and wife) Matt Hammon (formerly of any number of bands, including The Gloria Record, Bob Mould, and Tody Castillo’s band) and Cameron Dezen (who has a couple of excellent solo releases, including one of my favorite local releases of 2005), and their brother-in-law/brother Alex Dezen (of Brooklyn/L.A.-based band The Damnwells).

The band’s debut album, Lost and Found, was just released and is available in the usual spots — including online at Amazon and iTunes. It is available at Cactus as well.
