Former Houstonians, now known as Lower Dens (a band which got its start in Baltimore), play at Fitzgerald’s tonight (Monday, 6.25.12). Jana Hunter–who has returned to Texas and now calls Fort Worth home–and company have released a new album (Nootropics) that includes one of my favorite songs of 2012 so far: “Brains”.
