Enloom sponsors art initative, releases In The Lantern Cusp

October 18th, 2011 · No Comments

Instrumental rock band Enloom, whose album In The Lantern Cusp was just released, is sponsoring a “communal art initiative” to help support the arts in education and community. The band is soliciting all types of artwork to share with the community under a Attribution-NonCommercial Creative Commons license. Select pieces of work will be used on Enloom merchandise with a portion of sales being donated to non-profits supporting arts in education.

This fall and winter, the band–guitarist Mason van Kraayenburg, guitarist/pianist Bobby Levy, bassist/guitarist Abi Putra, percussionist Nathan Lee, and percussionist/electronics maestro Aaron Cormier–also plans to compose original songs for eight fans chosen from Twitter and Facebook. Live shows are planned to be scheduled for early 2012.

You can submit artwork to the band by emailing art at enloom dot com. More details on the project, along with information on purchasing In The Lantern Cusp on CD, may be found at www.enloom.com. Or, buy the album digitally on iTunes or Amazon.com.
