Free Press Summer Fest preview: The Manichean

June 3rd, 2011 · 1 Comment

The Manichean is a band I first saw live at the first Free Press Summer Fest, if I recall correctly. Since that time, the band has been steadily creating new work and making a name for itself with typical dramatic flair. The band’s shows are something of a spectacle, and definitely worth checking out at this year’s Free Press Summer Fest, which starts tomorrow (Saturday, 6.4.11) in Houston’s Eleanor Tinsley Park.

Here’s a video of what to expect from the band’s set:

The Manichean plays tomorrow (Saturday, 6.4.11) at 1:10pm on the 29-95.com stage.

Passes to Summer Fest may be purchased at www.freepresssummerfest.com.

Thanks, Cobb! Just so everyone knows, we’re actually playing at 1:10pm on Saturday right after Glasnost.
