The 57th Annual Texas Music Festival and Village Fair debuts the Battle of the Bands, an ultimate music showdown. On Sunday May 8th, the battle features 6 local acts that will rock out their 3 best songs for the crowd and judges to see who will be crowned the winner.

Bands of all musical genres may enter to compete through midnight Sunday, April 17h at www.lcvillagefair.com/battle.htm.

5 bands selected by a professional panel of judges and one fan vote winner will be selected through an online voting process Monday, April 18h 12:00 P.M. until Tuesday, April 19h at 5:00 P.M on the Lion’s Club Texas Music Festival and Village Fair website. Finalists and the Fan Vote Winner for the Battle of The Bands will be announced on Friday, April 22nd.

The Fan Vote winner receives a special prize valued at approximately $250 and the grand prize winner of the competition wins a package valued at approximately $1500 featuring recording studio time and other great musical gifts.

The Battle of the Bands is FREE and takes place at the Texas Music Festival and Village Fair on Sunday, May 8th between 12-5pm featuring the best local talent, DJs, and musical family fun!
