Southern Backtones frontman Hank Schyma, along with Johnny Falstaff, John Evans, and a number of other Houston area musicians and artists, has been working on the Honky Tonk Blood film for years. The film is finally complete (!), and a screening is scheduled for February 24, 2011, at River Oaks Theater.

The film’s soundtrack–which includes tracks by Evans, Falstaff, Two Star Symphony, Sideshow Tramps, and Southern Backtones, is out now on ZenHill Records. You can stream it here and buy it digitally via Amazon, Bandcamp, and iTunes.
