Influential indie-rockers Pixies plays tonight (Monday, 9.20.10) at Verizon Wireless Theater. The band will play its Doolittle album in its entirety.
Also, Chicago musician Billy Corgan brings the latest iteration of Smashing Pumpkins to Warehouse Live tomorrow night (Tuesday, 9.21.10). Regardless of the hype and drama that surrounds Corgan, his drummer (who replaced the stellar Jimmy Chamberlain) is amazing. Bad City opens.
Tickets to both shows are still available and are expensive.

Come on now, and the Black Crowes! Playing a 2 setter, first set acoustic and then full electric. Real rock n roll, this friday at the VWT.
