FRIDAY [9.10.10], Johnny Falstaff, John Evans and I will make sweet, sweet music during an event called “Heights Live” in an old church in the Houston Heights. Last time we played together in College Station did not go so well… (Here’s why) Matt Matthews came out to record the show and broadcast it live through the FM airwaves, but apparently we got really drunk. Long story short, after the “performance” was over, Johnny laid down this rule. “When I am playing, No one else plays!” Though he said this to both me and John, i think it was directed at me. “Hank, You played whah whah all over my sweet bluegrass music.” Later that night as I was making promising headway on an extremely beautiful brunette, John & Johnny laid down the mother of all cock blocks on me. They weren’t even trying to get the girl for themselves (cause they had no chance), they simply amused themselves by sabotaging my promising evening. So, This Friday night when we perform in this old church, paybacks are going to be Hell!
