Former members of Sleeping Rubys and Twenty Mondays have formed the post-punk influenced band Smithfield, which debuts its music this Friday (9.10.10) at the Continental Club in Houston.
Timothy Qualls, the 2010 Houston Press Music Award Winner for “Best New Act,” opens the show.
