Tambersaro’s final show tonight in Midtown

July 24th, 2010 · No Comments

Tambersaro‘s last show is tonight at The Exoskeleton (2808 Milam, in Midtown).

The line-up also includes Honey and Salt, Dear Human, Babar, and Spelling Bee. Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 8:15pm.

Here’s more info about the show:

Tambersauro is presenting their last show while celebrating their latest album release ‘From The Last Day I Saw You’. From a musical standpoint, this trio of Jeff Price (Bass Guitar), Mike Blacksheer (Guitar), and Lance Higdon (Drums and Percussion) is unlike any group in Houston and is a magical mix of crazy shifts, sardonic monologues, polyrhythms, random churning dance grooves, and potentially controlled explosions. Their music is a mix of all things musically holy due to the layers and energy we crave from a live performance. On top of all that, they wear jumpsuits proudly displaying a Texas flag on the sleeves when they perform.
This should be a good one to see. Higdon has played an important part on the local music scene and it’s sad to see him go.
