You may know Michael Kingkaid as the frontman for Austin’s What Made Milwaukee Famous. But Kingkaid lives in the Houston area, and occasionally performs solo sets. His latest project is Michael Kingkaid & The Black Power, a band I know absolutely nothing about, other than it plays a set at the Free Press Summer Fest this weekend.
