Gregg Gillis (aka Girl Talk) has made a name for himself by creating mash-ups of other people’s songs. It’s been done before, but Girl Talk is a cut above the norm and makes his shows something to be experienced. Audiences typically crowd around him (and his laptop) onstage, dancing and generally making the concert a collaborative event. It will be interesting to see what he pulls off at Summer Fest, which runs June 4-5, in Houston’s Eleanor Tinsley Park.

Girl Talk plays at Free Press Summer Fest on Saturday, 6.5.10, at 8:20pm on the main stage.
