Free Press Houston Block Party this weekend

November 13th, 2009 · No Comments

It’s that time again: Free Press Houston hosts its Block Party on Westheimer near Numbers this weekend (November 14-15, 2009). Like SummerFest wasn’t enough, the FPH Block Party features more than 200 bands–most of which are local.

You can find the schedule of bands at the FPH website, and read more about some of the groups playing at 29-95.com.

So far, my Saturday schedule is shaping up as the following, but the schedule is undergoing changes so be sure to check the Free Press‘ site for the latest information.

1:40pm Robert Ellis @ #s outside
2:45 Ghost Town Electric @ Mango’s inside
4:10 The Manichean @ Helios upstairs
5 Young Mammals @ #s outside
5:50 Roky Moon & Bolt @ #s outside
6:40 Flowers To Hide @ Helios outside
7:30 Paris Falls @ Helios outside / The Gold Sounds @ Helios upstairs
8:15 Chase Hamblin @ Helios upstairs

On Sunday, this will likely be the story:

12:50pm Springfield Riots @ #s outside
1 The Watermarks @ Mango’s outside
2:30 News on the March @ Helio’s upstairs
4:10 I Am Mesmer @ #s outside
5 Ben Wesley @ Helio’s upstairs
5:50 Something Fierce @ Austin Layne / BMOL @ Helio’s upstairs

Enjoy.
