Bright Men Of Learning interview on 29-95.com, EP release tonight

Local musician/writer/photographer Ramon Medina recently did a great interview with local band Bright Men of Learning, whose new Champion Sounds EP will be available at the band’s show at Rudyard’s tonight (Friday, 9.18.09). The Jonx and Side Arms (ex-Sharks and Sailors) are also on the bill.
An excellent line-up.

In addition to the show on Friday night at Mango’s, local indie-folksters Listen!Listen! host an, um, listening party tonight (Wednesday, 9.16.09) at 7:30pm at Little Big’s on Montrose near Westheimer.
The band also plays an in-store at Cactus Music this Saturday at 1pm.
