The Warlocks return to Houston tonight (Saturday, 8.22.09) for a show at Walter’s on Washington. The California-based band is touring in support of its latest album, The Mirror Explodes, which is available via Tee Pee Records. It’s a good listen–much better than the band’s last one.

I caught the band live at this year’s South By Southwest–in the daylight, no less–and it was great. I expect nothing less at the show here. Here’s a live clip from Paris:
