The Tontons celebrate the release of its debut self-titled album this week with a pre-release CD listening party on Friday (7.24.09) at Little Big’s (2703 Montrose), from 7-10pm, and a CD release party on Saturday (7.25.09) at Caroline Collective from 6-10pm.
The band is currently nominated for “Best Indie Rock,” “Best Female Vocals,” and “Best Guitarist” in the 2009 Houston Press Music Awards.
