Hey there musician friends, people who love music and all that.  Not sure what that means, but whatever.

So, my band, orange is in, is looking for a new live drummer. We’re in the studio now working on album number 3 and are using session musicians for that work, which gives us some time to find a new live performance musician.

If you don’t know the band (shame on you), the music is loud, rootsy American rock in the vein of Springsteen and Tom Petty with a few other influences like Elvis Costello, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and others thrown in because we’re awesome…and old.  If Stan Lynch wanted the gig and we were certain he wouldn’t make us play songs he wrote like Boys of Summer, we wouldn’t be sending this email.  As it is, we’re looking.

I made a blog post about it on the website, because that’s what you do with modern technology and spare time unless of course you have a normal non-nerdy life. We just need someone experienced, reliable and with a decent attitude.  You can read the whole thing here or pass it along:

We don’t need some savant. We just need a solid rock musician who has a little time and a decent attitude. We’ll pay for gigs as best we can and only need one rehearsal per week max.
