Cactus Music hosts another great free in-store performance this afternoon. Houston Calling‘s favorite local punk band, Something Fierce, kicks off their tour with a show at 5:30 today (Saturday, 1.17.09). The usual free libations will be available (two per person, of course), and you’ll also be able to buy the brand new Something Fierce album, There Are No Answers, for a measly $7.98.

This is apparently the only show the band is playing locally before heading out on the road for a bit, so be sure to come check them out. Trust me, they’re great to see live.
