The Tontons’ gear stolen

Not sure how this one got past me, but it definitely looks like it will be an interesting show: Dallas/NY band Secret Machines come to Warehouse Live this Friday night (12.12.08), with Austin’s Electric Touch, and the always-entertaining Perry Farrell.
As long as Farrell doesn’t play any Satellite Party stuff while he’s DJing…

Shapes Stars Make at Fuel

Shapes Stars Make, a Dallas-area instrumental rock band similar to Explosions in the Sky–and whose 2008 self-titled release is vying for a spot in my top 20 favorites list–comes to Houston (well, close to it anyway) to play Fuel in Humble Saturday night (12.6.08).
