I have been a fan of The Smiths ever since picking up a copy of The Queen Is Dead at some mall record store circa ’85. I can’t recall ever seeing a band cover them live though, thankfully. But I am intrigued…

Mechanical Boy‘s recent release, Play Along, is in steady rotation on my iPod and is poised to be one of my local favorites this year. Vocalist Tim Anderson pretty much sounds like one of the guys from Tears For Fears, so this should be an interesting show.
