Cardinals, Ryan Adams’ latest band, plays in Houston at Verizon Wireless Theater tonight (Tuesday, 10.14.08). The group’s new album, Cardinology, hits stores 10.28.08. You can pre-order it on vinyl or CD by clicking the image above.
After the show (approximately 10:30pm or so), members of Alkari, Half Mile Away, and Moses Guest possibly play a show at a location TBD as a Whiskeytown tribute band. They plan to cover Stranger’s Almanac in its entirety.

Thanks a lot for promoting this, David! As of right now, it looks like we don’t have a venue for the Whiskeytown tribute. We’ll keep you posted and let you know if we get one for the near future. We’re definitely going to play it sometime!
