Finally! Hayes Carll, whose recent Trouble In Mind is riding high on the Americana charts, plays a free in-store performance today (Friday, 8.8.08) at Cactus Music. If you havem’t yet heard the album, which is out on Lost Highway Records, be sure to pick up a copy (or on the double vinyl, like I did). It’s one of my favorite records of 2008 so far.

Carll also plays a show tonight out at The Showgrounds at Sam Houston Race Park. 10pm, I think.
