Local bands playing Rock The Bayou, last chance for early bird tickets

July 31st, 2008 · 1 Comment

Today (Thursday, 7.31.08) is the last day for early bird ticket prices to Labor Day weekend’s Rock The Bayou festival. Ticket prices are $99 for general admission, but after today the price jumps to $125 (which is still a good deal for more than 100 bands).

I recently found out that a lot of local bands are playing side stages during Rock The Bayou–many of them were nominated for Houston Press Music Awards this year, so this is a good chance for them to show the festival attendees some of what makes Houston great. The Mighty Orq, Whorehound, Skepticynic, The Hates, Azraels Bane, and many more are scheduled to perform.

More information and tickets can be found at www.rockthebayou.com.
