Local H rocks

Finally! The new album by Chicago’s Local H hits stores today (Tuesday, 5.13.08). Twelve Angry Months is a concept album (of sorts) that chronicles the disintegration of a relationship (one song for each month of the year). We’ve all been there, and Local H front man Scott Lucas does a great job of whipping his feelings into a solid set of songs. You should be able to read my review of the album on the Space City Rock website soon.

Local H play the last of seven nights in a row in Chicago tonight–each night featured one of the band’s albums in its entirety–and then start their national tour. Unfortunately, there’s no Houston date this time around but Austin and Fort Worth are both on the list at the end of May.

You can stream some of the new tracks here.

For more information on the band’s music, visit Local H’s official site or their MySpace page. You can buy the new album on iTunes, at Amazon, or from the label’s website.

Also check out Lucas’s side project, The Prairie Cartel.
