Free Press Houston presents Westheimer Block Party this Saturday

Free Press Houston hosts their annual Westheimer Block Party this Saturday (4.12.08) from noon-midnight at the 300-500 Block of Westheimer (stages will be hosted at Numbers, Avant Garden (formerly Helios), La Strada and Mangos Cantina. This is a free event.

Some of the bands scheduled to play include: Satin Hooks | Young Mammals (formerly The Dimes) | Spain Colored Orange | Elaine Greer | Electric Touch | Southern Backtones | O! Pioneers | By The End Of Tonight | Thee Armada | Buxton | Studemont Project | skyblue72 | Eye Against | Karina Nistal | Mechanical Boy | (You)genius | Nosaprise | Lazlo | Guy Schwartz | Perseph One | DJ Ceeplus Badknives

The event will end with a concert by Austin’s …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, with Health, Young Mammals, Spain Colored Orange, and By The End Of Tonight at Numbers. Tickets to this show are $10. More information here.
