Morrissey’s greatest hits + live CD

March 29th, 2008 · No Comments

Long-time readers know I’m an old fan of The Smiths. After a couple of releases though, I lost interest in Morrissey’s solo career until a couple of years back when he released You Are The Quarry. Now, capitalizing on the strength of his recent releases, the Moz is putting out a new greatest hits collection.

The album contains two new songs, “That’s How People Grow Up” and “All You Need Is Me,” and the deluxe edition includes a live album recorded at the Hollywood Bowl. As with any “greatest” collection, one can argue about songs that weren’t included (seriously, no “November Spawned A Monster”?) but it’s a pretty good compilation overall.
