Well, South By Southwest just released their first listing of bands playing chosen to play official SXSW showcases this year. Metal/Irish rockers The Blaggards deservedly are on the list, as are The Dimes (who better change their name soon), Something Fierce, The Western Civilization, Karina Nistal, Thee Armada, Studemont Project, DJ Sun, Indian Jewelry, Peekaboo Theory, Nosaprise, Lucky, Million Year Dance, The Jonbenet, Witnes, Fatal Flying Guilloteens, Lower Life Form, Joe Doucet, IB3, Jandek, The Linus Pauling Quartet, Will To Live, Space City Gamelan, Katie Stuckey, The Tontons, Little Joe Washington, and many more.
