This Saturday night (12.15.07), locals Million Year Dance, Penny Royal, and DJ Ceeplus Bad Knives play at Warehouse Live. Cover is $10 and show time is 10pm.
Million Year Dance won the Houston Press Music Awards for 2007 “Album of the Year” and 2006 “Best New Act.” They are currently recording the follow up to their Liberation EP, which can currently be downloaded for free from the band’s MySpace page.

for some reason reminds me of Days of the New; that’s not a slam considering how talented (but unsold) Travis Meeks is.
it’s probably the leads voice that makes me think Travis….
