As you can read on The Skyline Network, local indie club The Proletariat will be torn down to makw way for the light rail on Richmond Ave.
Even with the news of Cactus reopening, this is sad and disappointing news. Local bands have it hard enough without the hassle of one less reputable venue in town.

are you kidding? local light rail on Richmond? wtf for?
if it kills the bus system then maybe it will be worth it, otherwise, what a sad end to a space that has been many a great venue.
