Fondue Monks: cow killers

October 16th, 2007 · No Comments

Houston’s best funk-rockers Fondue Monks barely escaped with their lives this past weekend after their van hit a herd of stray cows on the way back from a show in Austin early Sunday morning. The guys weren’t hurt, thankfully, but their van–and a few cows–definitely took some damage.

You can get more information on the accident, including photos and some video, at the band’s website.

In other Monks’ news, the band has a live DVD (recorded at The Meridian) coming out in the near future. The band is known for their great live sets, spot-on covers, and extended jams, so this should be quite the treat. More details as they come.
