You may have read this elsewhere already, but tons of locals bands–and I mean more than 50–will perform at the upcoming Westheimer Block Party, organized by Free Press Houston. The fun starts noon-ish on Saturday, 10.13.07, in the usual spot near Numbers.

So far, the following bands are slated to perform: Spain Colored Orange, Golden Axe, The Scattered Pages, Karina Nistal, .bellville, skyblue72, Million Year Dance,  Peekaboo Theory, Elaine Greer, Generic Tribe, Free Radicals, Ernie Banks, Captain Asian and the Electrics, Rise over Ruin, Dirtybird, Studemont Project, Novice, Medicine Show, Econo, Riff Tiffs, Organ Failure, Guy Schwartz, Nosaprise, Prodigal Sons, Dead Roses, Concrete Rose Cabaret, and Golden Axe.
