Tonight (Monday, 8.20.07) at The Proletariat, Motion Turns It On (whose Rima EP is one of the best local releases this year so far) play with They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?.

Thursday night has a lot of local shows to choose from. At Rocbar, Pale plays with D.E.M.O. and Stalking Chloe. The Meridian hosts Flowers To Hide, Tody Castillo, The Rogues, and Astra Heights. Fatal Flying Guilloteens play with The Dimes and L.A.W.S. at Walter’s.

On Friday, the legendary BOC (Blue Oyster Cult) plays in Clear Lake at Scout Bar. Don’t let the laser hit your eyeball. Also on Friday, Whorehound plays at Rudz with Split Hoof and Rustler.

On Saturday, Full Throttle Coffee & Gallery in Spring hosts Orange Is In, whose latest CD is available now.
