The Texas Holy Hip Hop Achievement Awards starts its weekend events tonight (Friday, 6.22.07) with a series of workshops in NW Houston at Copperfield Church (8350 Highway 6 North). The workshops, which feature special guests Ed Grice, Mark J, Sketch, DJ D-Lite (3rd Coast, Fiyah Radio), DJ Ovadose (Choppaholix/104.9FM), Matt Sonzala (Damage Control Radio/90.1FM/houstonsoreal), Urban D (Flavor Alliance), Ras, and more, kick off at 5pm and go until 10pm. Tickets are only $8 at the door.

This Saturday (6.23.07) is the awards ceremony and related festivities. MTV’s Sway and many other hip hop-related celebrity guests will be on hand to honor the best in Texas holy hip hop. Much Luvv Records presents the awards, now in its 6th year.

Don’t miss the Red Carpet media meet & greet on Saturday, June 23rd from 4:00 – 5:30pm. This is a time when artists, presenters, and celebrities will be present for the media to get exclusive interviews, pictures, and video footage before ceremony begins. Fans are also welcome to come out and meet the stars of the show.

Award Ceremony – The main event takes place on Saturday, June 23rd from 6 – 9pm. The largest hip hop awards show in Texas features performances by many of the top artists in the industry and over twenty awards will be presented throughout the night. See the back of this flyer for many of our special guests and performers. Tickets are $25 at the door.

After Party – The show doesn’t stop at 9 o’clock. Move up-stairs to the after party taking place from 9pm – 1am. There will be food, fellowship, and live performances by some of the newest and brightest music entertainers around. Dinner will be sold at the after party. Tickets: $5 advance / $10 at the door / Dinner may be purchased at afterparty for $5 (includes food and drink).
