The Hourly Radio play The Mink w/ Flowers To Hide this Thursday

June 6th, 2007 · No Comments

The Brit-rock influenced Dallas group The Hourly Radio play at The Mink’s Backroom this Thursday night (6.7.07).

I have been a fan of The Hourly Radio since I heard their album earlier this year, and interviewed them for the Dallas edition of Envy magazine. Their album, History Will Never Hold Me, is a nice poppy affair–perfect for fans of The Verve, Coldplay, Oasis, etc.

I am also happy that one of my favorite local bands (and great live act) Flowers To Hide are also playing the show. I recently heard some of their new stuff and it definitely lives up to the standards.

You can download an MP3 of The Hourly Radio from WOXY.com’s “Lounge Act” series here.

The Mink is located on Main @ West Alabama, on the same block as The Continental Club. Come out, grab a 1664, and head upstairs.
