March 2nd, 2007 · No Comments

Houston’s Spain Colored Orange recently wrapped up their next album at Sugar Hill Studios. Sneaky Like a Villian should see the light of day in June.

As you’re probably aware, Spain Colored Orange more or less swept the 2006 Houston Press Music Awards, winning Album of the Year, Local Musicians of the Year, Best Indie Rock, and Best Keyboardist (Gilbert Alfaro). The band is featured in the March 2007 issue of Texas Music magazine.

Hopelessly Incapable of Standing in the Way, the band’s 2006 EP, is available at local records stores and most online retailers.

The new album also includes a handful of songs with Two Star Symphony and production duties by Bill Racine.
