February 25th, 2007 · No Comments

Anyone interested in joining Mia Kat Empire‘s street team or starting one in your area, please send an email to info@miakatempire.com. The label says it needs help of local music fans to get it going strong.

Here is the scoop on the label’s current happenings:

Hollywood Black‘s fantastic CD, Two Thousand Years of Progress was released earlier this month, and you can order your copy at miakatempire.com. I suggest checking it out.

Also, Gretchen Schmaltz will be releasing her EP, Laced Up Tightly, in early March. The CD release is March 8th at Mojo Risin’ Coffee House (near Cadillac Bar on Shepherd). The $8 cover includes a copy of the CD.

The Western Civilization is finishing up their upcoming full-length album Letters of Resignation. The CD release will be March 24th at Walter’s on Washington. The show will have a $12 cover that will pay your admission and get you a copy of the album.

Buxton is started work on their new album, A Family Light, this month. The label expects the album to release sometime this summer.

All Mia Kat Empire releases will be available in digital music stores starting in March 2007 — iTunes/Connect/EMusic/Rhapsody/Napster/Musicnet
