Keyboard stolen! Please be on the lookout…

January 6th, 2007 · No Comments

I was recently notified of a theft of equipment by a visiting musician.

Paula Maya, a keyboard player, was in Houston for 2 weeks, performing during the holidays. Someone broke into the home at which she was staying in the Montrose area on the evening of January 2nd and stole her keyboard. This particular keyboard is an older model, hard to find. She has filed a police
report, but they won’t start investigating until next week.

Here is the information she’s sending to local pawn shops and music stores. If you come across this instrument, please contact her immediately.

RE: KEYBOARD STOLEN (and keyboard case) in the evening of 1-2-07 at 1751 W. Main St.
MODEL: KORG O1W FD Workstation, 61 keys non-weighted
The Keyboard case was a black fiber glass hard case (not the most heavy duty one). I believe bran SKB
NOTE: KORG hasn’t made this keyboard for over 10 years. It’s not a common one, and not easy to find!

Here’s a photo of her with the keyboard:

Also, Paula Maya’s new release Paula, Yellow House Records 2007, is available now. Please go to http://www.paulamaya.com to listen to samples and get your copy.
