I am Thankful for… By The End Of Tonight

November 21st, 2006 · 1 Comment

Portland’s Temporary Residence record label has released a new compilation that’s a must for indie music fans, especially those of us who love it when local acts get exposure outside of Tejas.

Thankful, which is now available, features previously unreleased songs from Eluvium, Cex (with Nice Nice), the Ladies (aka Rob Crow and Zach Hill), Mono, and our very own (well, Alvin’s very own but who cares?) By The End Of Tonight, among others.

The CD’s tracklisting is as follows:

1 Eluvium: “Carousel”
2 Caroline: “Wonderlust”
3 Lazarus: “Thank Thee”
4 Cex & Nice Nice: “Jacksonville”
5 The Ladies: “Trapped in the Hobbit”
6 Sleeping People: “Growing Sand”
7 By the End of Tonight: “Ready? Aim. Fire!”
8 The Drift: “Secret Waters”
9 Mono: “Since I’ve Been Waiting for You”
10 The Anomoanon: “Let’s Rove”

Order it here now. Or, wait for it on emusic. I assume it’ll be there shortly.

Now Playing: Mew — And The Glass Handed Kites
